Our Story

Built on a Love
for Authentic Art

The Beginning

Fatima Hamid & Gallery 8b2

Gallery 8b2 began as a simple conviction: that Pakistan’s visual arts scene was brimming with extraordinary talent that the world simply wasn’t seeing enough of.

After years in the arts — studying, travelling, collecting, and curating — Fatima opened the doors of Gallery 8b2 in the heart of Lahore. The name is both personal and symbolic: a quiet reference to the address where the idea was first sketched out on paper.

Since then, the gallery has grown into one of Pakistan’s most respected platforms for visual art — representing 30 artists across six genres, hosting exhibitions that draw collectors from across the country and beyond.

Authenticity

Every artist is chosen for the integrity of their vision — not market trends.

Accessibility

Art should not be intimidating. We welcome first-time buyers and seasoned collectors equally.

Representation

We champion diverse voices — male and female, established and emerging.

Community

Our exhibitions, talks, and events build lasting connections between artists and collectors.
